EOBR 2012

EOBR 2012 is a mandate going into effect on June 4, 2012. It states that motor carriers that have demonstrated serious noncompliance with the D.O.T. Hours of Service rules will be subject to mandatory installation of Electronic On-Board Recording (EOBR’s) devices that meet the new performance standards for such devices. If FMCSA determines, based on HOS records reviewed during a compliance review, that a motor carrier has a 10 percent or greater violation rate for any HOS regulation, FMCSA will issue the carrier an EOBR remedial directive.

 

Wi-Fi Yard Management

DBK Telematics has designed a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi Yard Management Solution  delivering real time tire pressure monitoring, engine telematics and Hours of Service (H.O.S.) from your truck to your Mobile Computing Device and/or smart phones. Our industry-leading GPS devices come with embedded Wi-Fi functionality, which allows direct vehicle status communication with your fleet vehicles. DBK’s solution can provide light duty (OBDII) and heavy duty (1708 and 1939) data, as well as auto switching under embedded application control. It is compatible with smart phones, PDA's, Motorola, Datalogic, LXE or Intermec mobile computing devices.
