The
selection committee
for FIU's Entrepreneurship
Hall of Fame met on
February 2nd to review
each nomination and
to select their winners.
Danny Katz was named
a finalist this year.
The
FIU Entrepreneurship
Hall of Fame was established
in 1999 to recognize
Florida International
University alumni who
have achieved distinction
as founders and builders
of new business enterprises.
Alumni are inducted
into the Entrepreneurship
Hall of Fame at an annual
ceremony held expressly
for this purpose. This
year, the ceremony will
be held on Thursday,
May 12th at the Parrot
Jungle on Watson Island.
At
the event, supported
by media partners NBC
6, Telemundo 51, and
South Florida CEO
magazine, is the largest
entrepreneurship program
organized by the College
of Business Administration.
It is also the largest
of the College's alumni
events. Celebrating
the many successes of
their Alumni is a pleasure,
especially those alumni
who have truly impacted
the local communities
through their entrepreneurial
spirit, community services,
and business savvy.
