SURVIVES KATRINA WITH
FLYING COLORS |
|
Hello everyone,
As
you will see on your
national news, Hurricane
Katrina hit Miami last
night. I just wanted
to write and let everyone
know that DBK's personnel,
building and structure
and all customer equipment
is fine. Hurricane Katrina
dropped a whole lot
of water and huffed
and puffed and blew
some trees down, but
spared Miami any serious
damage, however it did
leave it with a whole
lot of nuisance damage.
As I write this at my
desk at DBK, the building
is fully functional
and only had some landscaping
loss. Our computers
are up and Servtrac
is fully operational
to accept your electronic
orders.
DBK is located well
inland away from any
coastal waters. The
building was constructed
seven years ago and
by far exceeds Miami's
Construction codes which
are the strictest in
the country, in response
to Hurricane Andrew,
1992. The loss of electricity
to certain parts of
the city has no bearing
on DBK or my personal
home. DBK will be closed
today, Friday for all
employee's to be with
their families. Tomorrow,
Saturday, we are operating
a full shift to minimize
any down time in productivity
due to the Hurricane.
From me and the families
at DBK, Thank you for
your kind wishes.
Danny
