DBK's utilizes a home-grown, sophisticated system to drive our operations. ServTrack not only gives us full visibility and control of every asset in our care, but it also is rules-based and doesn't allow a unit to move from one station to the next without meeting the criterion we set for each customer. And that's just the internal side of ServTrack. ServTrack also offers customers an unparalleled web portal for asset management. Customers have the ability to search and view the repair history of assets by serial number, site number, or other fields as needed. The portal gives the reason the unit was malfunctioning, what was done to repair the unit, parts used, shipping information, etc. In addition to asset tracking, the portal allows customers to place RMA's, order equipment and to view and download extensive reporting including repair history, warranty checks and more. All reports can be downloaded in Excel Spreadsheet Format for ease of use. This service is password protected and available to customers 24/7 through DBK’s Web Site. DBK is more than just a hardware and software reseller. DBK is your partner to get mission critical technology to your entire organization, pre-staged, pre-configured and ready to go “out-of-the-box”. Your users receive their equipment and are able to install it via Plug-N-Play…NOT Plug-n-Pray.
DBK will act as your mini-warehouse and depot center. We can drop ship all the hardware your users need from our location. If one of your assets fails in the field the user can simply enter the RMA online, and we can express deliver a working system overnight. We then collect the defective unit and repair it and place it back into your depot.
In addition to rolling out newly purchased or replacement units, DBK can manage your upgrades as well. If you would like to upgrade your units or printers from batch to wireless, add WAN or GPS capability, require a firmware update, or if you would like us to reassign your assets as new stores open or old ones close, DBK has the technicians, warehouse and methodology to quickly turn around your equipment or to store it as the project dictates.
Via our sophisticated ServTrack™ system, you have full visibility of all your assets and are able to access tracking information, see where each asset is assigned and have a running history of failures and repairs.
Because the turn around time on warranty repairs is based upon the manufacturer’s “best-effort,” DBK recommends our Warranty Administration Services. For a low fee, DBK will “hot-swap” a spare pool unit for a broken unit so that your locations do not incur a lengthy down time when a warranty repair is required. This just means that while you send in the broken unit to be repaired a working one is already on its way. In addition we will track the unit and monitor its progress in ServTrack. You will be given access to ServTrack with a username and password designated by you, so that you too can keep updated on its progress. Once the unit is repaired, it will be sent back to DBK where it will be tested and then put back into your spare pool so it is ready for the next time it is needed. Warranty Administration includes:
